Special Issue on Plant Pathology and Plant Diseases
Central to plant
pathology is the disease triangle, a model showing the interactions between
host, pathogen, and environment that lead to disease. For disease to occur,
conditions for all of these components must be optimal. Disease-suppressive
soils manipulate the environment, reducing conduciveness to disease despite the
presence of a pathogen and susceptible host . The goal of this special
issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the
world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in
this area of Plant Pathology and Plant Diseases.
In this special issue, we invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles that explore Plant Pathology and Plant Diseases. In this special issue, potential
topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Pathological
analysis
-
Plant
pathogens
-
Plant
disease epidemiology
-
Physiological
plant disorders
-
Molecular
methods in plant disease diagnostics
-
Disease
resistance
-
Management
of plant diseases
Authors should read
over the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Plant Pathology and Plant Diseases” should be selected
during your submission.
