Special Issue on General Surgery
General surgery is a medical discipline focused on the preoperative, operative, and
postoperative management of patients undergoing surgical procedures. It covers
a wide range of procedures involving the gastrointestinal tract, thyroid, skin,
breast, and hernias, among others. Surgeons in this field are trained to handle
both elective and emergency surgeries, often acting as the first responders to
trauma cases. The discipline requires expertise in anatomy, pathology, and
surgical techniques, ensuring comprehensive care and management of various
surgical conditions.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
