Special Issue on
Environmental Degradation and Remediation
Environmental Degradation and Remediation is
a critical field that examines the processes and impacts of environmental
damage caused by natural and human activities, such as pollution,
deforestation, soil erosion, and climate change. It focuses on understanding
the underlying mechanisms of degradation across ecosystems—air, water, and
land—and developing effective strategies for restoration and sustainable
management. Remediation involves a range of scientific, engineering, and
ecological approaches to clean up contaminated environments, restore natural
habitats, and prevent further harm. This field plays a vital role in protecting
biodiversity, ensuring public health, and promoting environmental
sustainability for future generations.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Environmental
Degradation and Remediation. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Air quality management
-
Bioremediation
-
Climate change mitigation
-
Ecological restoration
-
Environmental risk assessment
-
Erosion control
-
Groundwater remediation
-
Hazardous waste management
-
Heavy metal remediation
-
Industrial pollution management
-
Land degradation and rehabilitation
-
Oil spill response and cleanup
-
Phytoremediation
-
Soil contamination and remediation
-
Waste management and treatment
-
Water pollution control
Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The
research field “Special Issue - Environmental Degradation and Remediation”
should be selected during your submission.
