Special Issue on Bone Fractures and Complications
Sustainable Ecosystem Management refers to
the practice of managing natural ecosystems in a way that maintains their
health, resilience, and biodiversity while supporting the needs of human
populations. It involves balancing ecological, social, and economic factors to
ensure that ecosystems continue to provide essential services—such as clean
air, water, and food—without depleting the resources they depend on. This
approach focuses on long-term sustainability, using adaptive management
strategies that respond to changes in environmental conditions and human
activities. Sustainable ecosystem management seeks to protect and restore
ecosystems, reduce negative impacts from human activities, and promote
practices that contribute to both ecological integrity and the well-being of
local communities.
