Special Issue on Urban Ecology
Urban Ecology is the scientific study of the relation of living and surrounding system in the context of an urban environment. The research content of urban ecology mainly includes the change and distribution of urban residents, the relationship between urban environmental quality and the substance and energy metabolism, urban ecological management, urban ecological index and its reasonable capacity, and so on. Urban ecology is not only the research of urban ecological system in various relations, but looking for good policy of city construction, which to become a good for human life ecosystem.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore urban ecology. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

The distribution and flow of urban population

Urban disasters and their prevention and control

Urban effects on the environment and climate

Urban landscape ecology

Biodiversity and urbanization

Civil engineering and sustainability in the urban environment
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Urban Ecology” should be selected during your submission.
