Special Issue on Environmental Risk Assessment

Environmental risk deals with the probability of an event causing a potentially undesirable effect. Quantitative risk assessment thus deals with statistics, because probability is the mathematical measure of risk, and with hazard assessment which determines the nature of the undesirable effect. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of environmental risk assessment.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring environmental risk assessment. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Risk from chemicals and from contaminated sites
• Ensuring environmental safety
• Ecotoxicological laboratory tests
• Reach and chemical exposure
• Type approval testing of ballast water management systems
• Environmental Risk Analysis methodology

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
