Special Issue on Hygiene and Environmental Health

Environmental health is the branch of public health concerned with all aspects of the natural and built environment affecting human health. Environmental health is focused on the natural and built environments for the benefit of human health, whereas environmental protection is concerned with protecting the natural environment for the benefit of human health and the ecosystem. It addresses all the physical, chemical, and biological factors external to a person, and all the related factors impacting behaviors. It encompasses the assessment and control of those environmental factors that can potentially affect health. It is targeted towards preventing disease and creating health-supportive environments.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Hygiene and Environmental Health. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Environmental medicine & public health
• Environmental health & safety
• Disease control and prevention
• Poisoning, toxicology and environmental exposure
• Pollution and diseases
• Water-associated diseases
• Wastewater treatment and public health
• Environmental health and risk management
• Climate change and human health
• Environmental factors and infectious diseases
• Respiratory and Environmental epidemiology
• Food safety and health
• Environmental conditions in healthcare facilities

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Hygiene and Environmental Health” should be chosen during your submission.
