Special Issue on Mechanics of Materials
Strength of materials,
also know as mechanics of materials, is focused on analyzing stresses and
deflections in materials under load. Knowledge of stresses and deflections
allows for the safe design of structures that are capable of supporting their
intended loads. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for
scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss
various new issues and developments in the area of Mechanics of Materials.
In
this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles that explore Mechanics of Materials. In this special issue, potential topics
include, but are not limited to:
-
Solid
mechanics and materials
-
Damage
and fracture mechanisms
-
Thermo-mechanical
constitutive response of materials
-
Interactions
between mechanics and electricity
-
Interactions
between mechanics and chemistry and optics
-
Numerical
calculations
-
Computational
mechanics
Authors
should read over the journal’s For
Authors carefully before submission.
Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript
through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special
Issue – Mechanics of Materials” should
be selected during your submission.
