Special
Issue on Cosmetic Chemistry and Science
Cosmetics refers to certain substances
which can be applied on any part of the human body surface, such as skin, hair,
fingernails, lips and teeth, by spreading, spraying or other similar methods to
achieve cleansing, maintenance, beauty, grooming and changing the appearance,
or to modify the human odor and maintain good smell with perfumes. According to
their functions, cosmetics can be divided into general cosmetics (also known as
non special cosmetics) and special cosmetics. The goal of this special issue is
to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Cosmetic
Chemistry and Science.
In this special issue, we intend to
invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and
review articles on exploring Cosmetic Chemistry and Science. Potential
topics include, but are not limited to:
