Special Issue on Applied Meteorology and
Climatology
Meteorology
is the study of the Earth's atmosphere and the variations in temperature and
moisture patterns that produce different weather conditions. The importance of
meteorological events is felt in various ways. Modern meteorology focuses
primarily on the typical weather patterns observed, including thunderstorms,
extratropical cyclones, fronts, hurricanes, typhoons, and various tropical
water waves. Meteorology is usually considered to describe and study the physical
basis for individual events. The goal of this
special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over
the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in
this area of applied meteorology and climatology.
In this special
issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring applied meteorology
and climatology. Potential topics include, but
are not limited to:
-
Weather
modification and weather forecast
-
Satellite meteorology and radar meteorology
-
Boundary layer processes, physical meteorology
-
Air pollution meteorology
-
Applied
meteorological numerical model
-
Analysis of meteorological and climate data
Authors should read
over the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special
Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Applied Meteorology and Climatology” should be selected during your
submission.
