Special Issue on Marine Engineering

Marine Engineering includes the engineering of boats, ships, oil rigs and any other marine vessel or structure, as well as oceanographic engineering. Specifically, marine engineering is the discipline of applying engineering sciences, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, and computer science, to the development, design, operation and maintenance of watercraft propulsion and on-board systems and oceanographic technology.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring marine engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Fuel technology and combustion
• Power and propulsion systems
• Offshore and underwater technology
• Pumping and pipeline engineering
• Vessel manoeuvring and stabilisation
• Dynamic modelling, system simulation and control
• Materials and corrosion
• Subsea operations
• Vessel management
• Ship and floating structure design
• Marine resource and acquisition
• Marine security

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
