Special Issue on Visual Anthropology
Visual anthropology is a branch of anthropology based on the combination of
Anthropology and vision. The human visual physiology, the form and function of
multimedia, and the evolution of Visual Documentary culture are all the
research fields of visual anthropology. The visual forms of all cultures, such
as sculpture, murals, writing, painting, film and photography, are also
included in the focus of visual anthropology. The rapid development of visual anthropology
also attracts more anthropologists to examine the power of this new discipline
and its role in future anthropological research.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
