Special Issue on Heart Attack
A heart attack, also known as acute myocardial infarction, occurs when the flow of blood to the heart is blocked, most often by a build-up of fat, cholesterol and other substances, which form a plaque in the arteries that causes damage to the heart muscle. The most common symptom is chest pain or discomfort which may travel into the shoulder, arm, back, neck, or jaw.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Heart Attack. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Pathological types
-
Medication
-
Management
-
Cardiac rehabilitation
-
Secondary prevention
-
Complications
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Heart Attack” should be selected during your submission.
