Special Issue on Drug Effects & Novel Drug Development

Drugs are chemicals. Different drugs, because of their chemical structures, can affect the body in different ways. The drug effects that occur in individuals who consume drugs depend on how the brain processes the chemicals in each drug. The amount of drugs needed to cause certain effects vary as well.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring drug effects & novel drug development. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Drug discovery
• Ion channels, transporters and neurotransmitter receptors
• Neurotransmitters, neuromodulators, and neuroreceptors
• Enzyme kinetics
• Drug carriers
• Gene or cell therapy
• Neurological drug targets
• Metabolism mediated drug-drug interactions
• Role of drug metabolism in drug development

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Drug Effects & Novel Drug Development” should be selected during your submission.
