Special Issue on

 Recent Advances on Environmental Monitoring, Modeling and Engineering

Environmental modelling is the process of using computer algorithms to predict the distribution of species in geographic space on the basis of a mathematical representation of their known distribution in environmental space. It Builds bridges between the scientific community's understanding of key environmental issues and the decision makers' need to influence relevant policies. Environmental Monitoring is considered as the activities that assessment of environmental quality, pollution level and its changes, which is used in the preparation of environmental impact assessments. As one of the most important and timely research fields of ecology, recent advances on environmental monitoring, modeling and engineering are of great attraction to researchers.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore recent advances on environmental monitoring, modeling and engineering. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Environmental monitoring and analysis
• Environmental modeling
• Monitoring of terrestrial processes in situ or through remote sensing
• Integrated monitoring and modelling for impact analysis and decision support
• Environmental modeling and measurements
• Application of environmental modeling
