Special Issue on Research on Vegetation
Vegetation is a general term of plant communities covering the surface of earth. Environmental factors such as light, temperature and rainfall can affect the growth and distribution of plants, thus creating different vegetations. According to their different environments Vegetations can be classified into alpine vegetation, grassland vegetation, island vegetation and so on. Vegetations play a huge and unique role in energy conversion and material cycles of the earth. Vegetations also contribute to improving climate, preventing soil erosion, reducing environmental pollution and so on. As one of the most important research fields of plant, research on vegetation is of great attractions to researchers.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring research on vegetation. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Classification
-
Temporal dynamics
-
Spatial dynamics
-
Vegetation and environment
-
Vegetation Ecology
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Research on Vegetation” should be chosen during your submission.
