Special Issue on Oxidative Stress
Oxidative
Stress is a physiological condition characterized by an imbalance between the
production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and the body's ability to
neutralize them through antioxidants. ROS, such as free radicals, are highly
reactive molecules that can cause damage to cells and biomolecules, including
lipids, proteins, and DNA. This imbalance leads to oxidative damage and can
contribute to numerous diseases and health conditions, including aging, cancer,
neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and more. The
goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and
academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new
issues and developments in the area of Oxidative Stress.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Oxidative Stress. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
