Special Issue on Network Design and Performance Evaluation
Network design is an iterative process that encompasses topological design, network-synthesis, and network-realization, and is aimed at ensuring that a new telecommunications network or service meets the needs of the subscriber and operator. To evaluate network system performance from the point of view of usability, the system administrators must know how their services are working and must improve them to satisfy user requests.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Network Design and Performance Evaluation. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Prototyping
-
Network topology
-
Hierarchical design models
-
Network traffic measurement
-
Network security architecture
-
Performance measurement
-
Evaluation tools
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Network Design and Performance Evaluation” should be selected during your submission.
