CALL FOR PAPERS
SPECIAL ISSUE
AFRICAN CONTRIBUTIONS TO
PHILOSOPHY IN THE GLOBALIZED WORLD IN THE LIGHT OFPROFESSORMADUABUCHI DUKOR’S“FOUR GREAT WORKS ON AFRICAN
PHILOSOPHY”
The objective of this special issue is
to distillate a cosmic view fundamental enough for the renewal of political,
scientific and ethical life in a globalized world. It is believed that
approaching these subject matters in the light of Maduabuchi Dukor’s “four
great works on African Philosophy” will refresh an insight from African philosophical
point of view vis-à-vis western perspectives;THEISTIC HUMANISM OF AFRICAN
PHILOSOPHY (Lambert Academic
Publishing AG and Co. Germany, 2010,www.lap-publishing.com)SCIENTIFIC PARADIGM IN AFRICAN PHILOSOPHY (Lambert
Academic Publishing AG and Co. Germany, 2010,www.lap-publishing.com)AFRICAN PHILOSOPHY IN THE GLOBAL VILLAGE (Lambert
Academic Publishing AG and Co. Germany, 2010,www.lap-publishing.com)AFRICAN FREEDOM: THE FREEDOM OF PHILOSOPHY (Lambert
Academic Publishing AG and Co. Germany, 2009,www.lap-publishing.com)As an academic theoretical and scientific engagement, the global imports of
these works will be better achieved by a free syntheses, intercourse,
interrogations, conversations and critical reflections upon significant advocacies
and postulations of modern, postmodern and contemporary western and African scholars
such as Jurgen Habermas, Placid Tempels, Levy Bruhl, William Abraham, Kwasi Wiredu,
kwame Gyekye, C.B. Okoro and so on.Concerned philosophers should employ
critical discourses in Dukor’s four great works on African Philosophy in
further interrogations on the nature of human problems within and outside the
preview of African Philosophy.Papers are therefore elicited from

politics economics, religion such as,
