Special Issue on Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is chronic and severe brain disorder that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. People with schizophrenia often have false beliefs, unclear or confused thinking, hallucinations, reduced social engagement and emotional expression, and a lack of motivation. The exact cause is unclear. The possible cause may be: genes, environment, substance use or developmental factors (such as hypoxia and infection).

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Schizophrenia. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Dopamine
  • Cognitive dysfunction
  • Hallucination
  • Antipsychotics
  • Schizoaffective disorder
  • Brain chemistry and structure

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Schizophrenia” should be selected during your submission.
