Special Issue on Aquatic Plants

Aquatic Plants are plants that have adapted to living in aquatic environments. They are also referred to as hydrophytes or macrophytes. The most common adaptation is aerenchyma, but floating leaves and finely dissected leaves are also common. Aquatic plants can only grow in water or in soil that is permanently saturated with water.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring aquatic plants. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Plant-dominated aquatic systems
  • Environmental ecosystems
  • Molecular, biochemical and physiological research
  • Pathology
  • Influence of herbicides and other chemicals
  • Biological control
  • Aquatic plant transplantation
  • Aquatic plant and human use
  • Aquatic plant production
  • Resources conservation

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Aquatic Plants” should be selected during your submission.
