Special Issue on Pancreatic Cancer
The pancreas is located in the abdomen. There are two kinds of cells in the pancreas, exocrine pancreas cells and neuroendocrine pancreas cells (such as islet cells). Most pancreatic cancers form in exocrine cells. These tumors usually do not cause obvious signs or symptoms, which makes it hard to diagnose this type of pancreatic cancer early. There are a number of types of pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic adenocarcinoma is the most common one and accounts for most of the cases.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Pancreatic Cancer. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Pancreatic adenocarcinoma
-
Cystadenocarcinomas
-
Acinar cell carcinoma
-
Solid pseudopapillary tumor
-
Pancreatic mucinous cystic neoplasms
-
Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Pancreatic Cancer” should be selected during your submission.
