Special Issue on Welding Technology

Welding Technology is a process of joining materials, usually melts or thermoplastics, into one piece by heating. It is often done by melting the work pieces or adding a filler material to form a pool of molten material that cools to become a strong joint, with pressure sometimes used in conjunction with heat, to produce the weld. Welding could be subdivided into gas welding, resistance welding, arc welding, induction welding, laser welding and other special welding technology.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore welding technology. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

•  Fusing welding, bonding and braze
•  Welding joint
•  Weld quality assurance
•  Glass and plastic welding
•  The development trends of welding technology
•  Welding Procedure Specification

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Welding Technology” should be selected during your submission.
