Special Issue on Dyes and Pigments
Dyes are
intensely colored or fluorescent organic substances only, which impart color to
a substrate by selective absorption of light. Pigments are water- and
oil-insoluble natural and synthetic products that impart color to materials.
This special issue welcome research and review papers on the synthesis,
characterization, preparation and vapochromic behavior of dyes,
pigments and their intermediates, and their photochemical, ecological or
biological properties and the relationship between color and chemical
constitution.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Dyes and Pigments. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Synthesis of dyes, pigments and intermediates
-
Photochemical, ecological or biological
properties
-
Wastewater treatment - removal of dyes or
pigments
-
Chemical analysis
-
Preparation and characterization
-
Molecular design and modeling
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Dyes
and Pigments” should be selected during your submission.
