Special Issue on Information and Coding Theory

Coding theory is the study of the properties of codes and their respective fitness for specific applications. Codes are used for data compression, cryptography, error detection and correction, data transmission and data storage. Codes are studied by various scientific disciplines—such as information theory, electrical engineering, mathematics, linguistics, and computer science—for the purpose of designing efficient and reliable data transmission methods.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Information and Coding Theory. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Coding for data and computer communications
• Coding and data management
• Coding & transmission
• Coding for wireless systems
• Algorithms and architectures
• Source coding
• Channel coding
• Error detection and correction
• Line coding
• Neural coding
• Cryptographic coding
• Applications

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Information and Coding Theory” should be chosen during your submission.
