ABSTRACT:
Calciphylaxis is a condition of
induced hypersensitivity in which tissues
respond to challenge agents with local calcification. This article reports
the first known case of diffuse calciphylaxis associated with acute myeloid
leukemia resulting in death from hypoxic
respiratory failure and refractory hypotension.
