management. The goal of
this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academics all
over the world to promote, share and discuss various new issues and
developments in traffic engineering .
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles that explore traffic engineering. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Intelligent transportation theory and application of information
technology
-
Optimize road space
-
Develop road safety strategies and programs
-
Assess and implement traffic collision reduction measures
-
Integration of active transportation and transit into road designs
-
Road traffic operation management and control
-
Rail transportation operation and management
-
Transportation infrastructure security risk management
-
Urban and regional transportation system planning
-
