Special Issue on Numerical Analysis and Its
Applications
Numerical
analysis is concerned with all aspects of the numerical solution of a problem,
from the theoretical development and understanding of numerical methods to
their practical implementation as reliable and efficient computer programs.
Most numerical analysts specialize in small subfields, but they share some
common concerns, perspectives, and mathematical methods of analysis. The goal
of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians
all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and
developments in this area of numerical analysis and its applications.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles that explore numerical analysis and its applications. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Theory
and practice of computational methods
-
Mathematical
models of elasticity theory, hydrodynamics, fluid dynamics, and geophysics
-
Mathematical
modeling
-
Functional
analysis
-
Variational
formulation of elliptic problems
-
Finite
element approximation
-
Numerical
approximation and computational geometry
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special
Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Numerical
Analysis and Its Applications” should be selected during your submission.
