Special Issue on Road Maintenance

The quality of road has a direct impact on the comfort, safety and fuel consumption of vehicles. With the rapid economic growth, road traffic flow also rises, so the road maintenance has become extremely important. Road maintenance is the improvement of the construction quality of subgrade, which can prolong the service life of road and improve the safety of road. In practice, it is necessary to observe the dynamic state of the road. Once the pavement diseases are found, the corresponding measures must be taken to maintain and manage the pavement in time.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring road maintenance. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Pavement maintenance
• Road management
• Roadbed materials research
• Highway construction technology
• Asphalt pavement common diseases prevention
• Cement concrete pavement
• Road quality analysis
• Road detection technology
