Special Issue on Free Will
Free Will is a fundamental issue. Does it exist? There is a fundamental contradiction between movements of billiard balls that can be scientifically described and Free Will. At the same time Free Will is fundamental for morality, even for entire psychology and culture.
Majority of people on Earth would rather "part" with science than with Free Will. But majority of scientists have an opposite view because Free Will cannot be logically reconciled with science. There has not been scientific solution for this contradiction. Scientific determinism is opposite to Free Will. No degree of randomness, quantum or probabilistic can solve this problem, because randomness is an opposite of freedom. Some scientists emphasize that the contradiction is not in science or mind, but in logic, and the mind is not logical.
This Special Issue invites all contributions related to Free Will, including philosophical, scientific, theoretical and experimental.
