Special Issue on Engineering Failure Analysis
Engineering Failure analysis is a
process that is performed in order to determine the causes or factors that have
led to an undesired loss of functionality. It is an important tool for the
improvement of the modern innovation cycle now demands that component design involves
a whole of life approach, incorporating an awareness of manufacture, safety,
reliability, environmental sensitivity and disposal.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring engineering failure analysis. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Engineering failure modes
-
Failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA)
-
Multiple failure mode
-
Approaches to failure analysis
-
Structural and architectural failures
-
Failure analysis, maintenance and reliability
-
Failure analysis research and industry
-
Case studies of failure
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Engineering
Failure Analysis” should be selected during your submission.
