Advances in Microbiology and Biotechnology refers to the rapid and ongoing evolution and progress in the fields of microbiology and biotechnology. The field of microbiology involves the study of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa, and their interactions with the environment. Biotechnology is the application of biological processes and organisms to the development of new technologies and products. Advances in microbiology and biotechnology have led to new technologies and products that are used in diverse areas such as healthcare, agriculture, industrial biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, and food and beverage production.
