ABSTRACT: We evaluated the efficacy of the piston device simulating manual piston technique for hip joints (PTH) on 8 spastic hemiplegia patients suffering from a limited range of hip joint extension. Results confirmed rapid improvement of hip joint range of motion and increase in the results of the Time up and Go test and walking speed.
