Special Issue on Applied Linguistics

Applied linguistics refers to the use of linguistic knowledge to solve language-related problems in other fields of science. The research scope of applied linguistics is determined by the needs of practice and it usually divided into general applied linguistics and machine applied linguistics. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Applied Linguistics.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Applied Linguistics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Language assessment and evaluation
• Language development
• Language education and teaching
• Language planning and policy
• Language acquisition
• Language and technology
• Translation
• Discourse analysis
• Internet linguistics

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Applied Linguistics” should be selected during your submission.
