Special Issue on Suicide Research  

Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one's own death. Risk factors include mental disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance abuse.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Suicide Research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Related factors and suicide prevention
• Mental disorders and suicide
• Suicide attempts and ideation
• Self-harm in adolescents  
• Disease-related pathology
• Psychometric tests for suicide screening
• Gender and age differences

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Suicide Research” should be chosen during your submission.
