Special Issue on Cancer Detection and Prevention
Cancer screening aims to detect cancer before symptoms appear. This may
involve blood tests, urine tests, DNA tests other tests, or medical imaging.
The benefits of screening in terms of cancer prevention, early detection and
subsequent treatment must be weighed against any harms.
Cancer prevention is the practice
of taking active measures to decrease the incidence of cancer and mortality.]
The practice of prevention is dependent upon both individual efforts to improve
lifestyle and seek preventative screening, and socioeconomic or public policy
related to cancer prevention. Globalized cancer prevention is regarded as a
critical objective due to its applicability to large populations, reducing long
term effects of cancer by promoting proactive health practices and behaviors,
and its perceived cost-effectiveness and viability for all socioeconomic
classes.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Cancer Detection and Prevention. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Cancer screening, prevention and control
-
Early detection and treatment
-
Early detection of malignant change and metastatic
spread
-
Biomarker for the detection
-
Detection methods, tests and medical imaging
-
Genetic testing
-

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
