Special Issue on Cancer Screening
Cancer screening is important method for early detection of cancer and precancerous
lesions. The common cancer screening methods include blood tests, B-mode
ultrasound, X-ray images, Pap smear and mammography. The aim of cancer screening
is to provide useful health information that can guide medical treatment. Screening
tests should be effective, safe, well tolerated, with low acceptability of
false positive and false negative results. In general, cancer screening is
risky and should not be done except for medical instructions.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring cancer screening.
