Special Issue on Structural Mechanics Research
The research object of structural mechanics is the composition rule of
structure and the response of structure under various effects. Its basic tasks
consist of structural analysis, structural mechanics analysis and structural
stability analysis. The research methods of structural mechanics mainly involve
three kinds of analysis, experimental research, theoretical analysis and
calculation of engineering structures. The advent of electronic computers and
finite element methods makes the complex calculation of large structures to be possible,
thus bringing the research and application level of structural mechanics to a
new height. With the emergence of new engineering materials and new engineering
structures, new research contents and new requirements have been offered to
structural mechanics.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring structural mechanics research.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Nonlinear structural mechanics
-
Structural
reliability and safety assessment
-
Structural
vibration control
-
Structural
statics
-
Structural
dynamics
-
Structural
stability theory
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under
your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special
Issue – Structural Mechanics Research”
should be chosen during your submission.
