Special Issue on Leukemia
Leukemia is cancer that usually starts in the bone marrow and
results in excessive abnormal white blood cells. Symptoms may include swollen
gland, pain in the bones or joints, fevers, night sweats, feeling weak or
tired, frequent infections, bleeding and bruising problems. No one knows
exactly what causes leukemia, while some factors are believed to increase the
risk, such as smoking, ionizing radiation and being exposed to certain
chemicals. People with a family history of leukemia are also more likely to
have the cancer.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Leukemia. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:

Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
