Special Issue on Algae Biology
Algae
are members of a group of predominantly aquatic photosynthetic organisms of the
kingdom Protista. It is a polyphyletic grouping that includes species from
multiple distinct clades. Their sizes range from microscopic Micromonas species
to giant kelps that reach 60 metres in length. The goal of this special issue
is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Algae
Biology.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Algae Biology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
