Advances in Critical Care Medicine

Critical care medicine, or intensive care medicine is a branch of medicine concerned with the diagnosis and management of life-threatening conditions that may require sophisticated life support and intensive monitoring.

In the present book, twelve typical literatures about Critical Care Medicine published on international authoritative journals were selected to introduce the worldwide newest progress, which contains reviews or original researches on critical care, critical care physician, ICU, disease trajectory, etc. We hope this book can demonstrate advances in critical care medicine as well as give references to the researchers, students and other related people.
