Highlighting the importance of infrastructure in development, it examines the role of roads and railways in promoting economic expansion. Using the Solow model, transport infrastructure is found to significantly boost economic productivity. The empirical results reveal a long-run positive correlation between transport infrastructure and economic growth and the existence of causality between infrastructure and economic growth, this study aims to establish a causal link between transport infrastructure and economic growth, providing essential information for future infrastructure projects and policies in the Republic of Congo.
