Utilizing data spanning from January 2010 to December 2020, the study employed longitudinal analysis techniques to examine trends and patterns in the financial performance of Zambian banks. The research methodology involved collecting financial data from prudential reports. Key financial metrics such as total assets, deposits, profitability measures, loan portfolios, and shareholders’ equity were analyzed and compared over the study period. Trend analysis techniques were applied to identify significant changes and patterns in the performance indicators, providing insights into the sector’s evolution over time.
