Computer Systems and Networks is an academic field that studies the design,
implementation and management of computing infrastructures and communication
networks. It covers operating systems, distributed systems, cloud computing,
network architecture, cybersecurity and performance optimization. The field
focuses on ensuring reliability, scalability, efficiency and security of
interconnected systems that support data processing, storage and transmission
across local and global environments.
