Special Issue on Food and Function
Food
and Function focuses on food and the functions of food in relation to health.
Functional food is the dietary item that provides nutrients and energy,
beneficially modulates one or more targeted functions in the body, by enhancing
a certain physiological response and/or by reducing the risk of disease. The
goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and
academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues
and developments in the area of Food and Function.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Food and Function. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
