ABSTRACT: Tourette’s syndrome, as a common neurodevelopmental disorder in children and adolescents, not only affects their daily social and lifestyle, but also causes psychological and behavioral disorders in some children. At the same time, mental and psychological factors have an important impact on the onset and development of children’s tic disorder. With the acceleration of social life rhythm, children’s mental health problems are increasingly imminent, and the incidence rate of children’s tic disorder is also rising. In recent years, Western medicine has increasingly focused on psychological and behavioral therapy while continuing to promote drug therapy. Traditional Chinese medicine has also gradually followed up on the attention and research of children with tic disorders, focusing on treating children with tic disorders from the perspective of emotional disorders based on liver diseases.
