ABSTRACT: This article discusses the challenges and disparities in providing mental health services through school counseling programs in the United States, concentrating on policy interventions at the state level to enhance access and effectiveness. It investigates the role of various stakeholders in shaping mental health policies and presents policy recommendations to enhance mental health services in educational settings. Mental health issues are widespread among children, but they are never being treated to solve the muted emotions. The articles address this disparity by expressing mental health services through school-based programs and supporting collaboration among community and health organizations to address the needs of the children. The analysis and arguments are used to rectify the inconsistencies in the need and use of services through policies at the state level. Some common mental issues occur throughout the year, which causes students to act violently in schools. The article concludes with a set of recommended practices to improve the effectiveness of counseling services in schools for the student’s benefit.
