ABSTRACT: This research examines the interrelationships among uncertainty avoidance (UA), entrepreneurial motivations, and entrepreneurial intention (EI) within the context of Vietnamese higher education. Drawing upon an established body of empirical literature, the study developed and tested a conceptual framework utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) methodology, with data collected from a sample of 323 undergraduate business students. The findings demonstrate a statistically significant negative impact of UA on EI. The analysis supported hypotheses related to competition, autonomy, and desire for change as significant predictors, while hypotheses concerning respect, income, and university support were not substantiated by the data. These results inform policy recommendations for the enhancement of entrepreneurship education within Vietnamese universities. The study acknowledges certain methodological limitations and suggests directions for future research to advance the understanding of cultural dimensions and motivational factors influencing entrepreneurial intentions within emerging Asian economies.
