ABSTRACT: This paper explores the application and practice of the concept of five-dimension education in English major study. It first elaborates on the theoretical development of five-dimension education, analyzing its practical significance in higher education. Then it focuses on the integration of five-dimension education with English study, including specific ways to implement moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education. This article also discusses the challenges ahead, such as the disconnect between concept and practice and the singularity of evaluation systems, and proposes corresponding solutions. Finally, it touches the prospects of new technologies like artificial intelligence in promoting five-dimension education in English learning.
