Special Issue on
Mathematical and Computational Methods in
Medicine
Mathematical and computational methods are widely applied to medical and biomedical sciences.
There are include gene therapy, cell kinetics, medical imaging techniques, mathematical
bioinformatics, pharmacokinetics, chemotherapy, heart modelling, computational
neuroscience, biomechanics and tissue engineering. Solution to the problem of
analysis of medical data requires using modern and sophisticated methods of
data analysis and explaining the effects by modeling of underlying elements.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring mathematical and computational methods in
medicine. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Cancer immunology modeling
-
Optimal control in therapy
-
HIV dynamics modeling
-
Mathematical models of human body parts
-
Biomechanical analysis
-
Biomedical imaging and image analysis
-
Machine learning in medicine and biomedicine
-
Applications
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Mathematical and Computational Methods in
Medicine” should be selected during your submission.
